From its origins in a garden shed in late-19th century Cambridge, to a globe-spanning, industrial conglomerate in the decades after World War II, Pye made significant contributions to key technologies of the 20th century: from radio, to (colour) television, radar to mobile communications.

The Pye History Trust (Registered Charity No. 1162310) serves to research, document and record the history of the Pye Group of Companies between 1896 and the present day.

The Pye Museum opened in 2019 and can be visited with general admission to Cambridge Museum of Technology.
