Volunteers of the Museum joined Cambridge Carbon Footprint, a local environmental organization, to run a community Repair Café on February 25. The event, which was run in tandem with the Cambridgeshire Repair Café Network, promoted sustainable sharing, reuse and repurposing of technology in the local community, with the aim of minimizing waste.
The local newspaper Cambridge Independent was in attendance and documented the community cooperation in the interest of sustainability.
