Many people have wondered about the fate of the handsome, but sadly neglected, house beside the Cambridge Museum of Technology. The Engineer's House was an integral part of the original site. The Engineer's House is to be reunited with the Cambridge Museum of Technology to create an exciting new community space for research, exhibitions and education.

Can you help?

The Cambridge Museum of Technology has launched a campaign to fund urgent repairs and security to the Engineer's House that are not covered by the Heritage Lottery Fund award secured for improvements to the Old Pumping Station site of the Cambridge Museum of Technology.

Volunteers are also needed to help clear and renovate the Engineer's House and gardens.

Can you promote the campaign?

The museum has printed a flyer, also available for download here (double-sided A5 format, pdf).

Can you distribute the campaign in your local area?

Printed copies are available from the Museum shop (open Sundays 2-5pm) or contact the museum.
