Volunteers of Cambridge Museum of Technology present a special online broadcast for Open Cambridge 2020 that compiles recent research exploring the history of one of Cambridge's largest industrial sites: the gas works.
Previously unpublished photographs from the museum's own archive, local collections and the National Grid Gas Archive capture the time-lapse transformation of Cambridge’s industrial skyline from the 19th to 21st centuries.
HOW TO WATCH
The programme (30 minutes) will broadcast as a YouTube Premiere on the OpenCambridge playlist of Cambridge University’s YouTube channel : the programme will then be available for on-demand replay.
