“My name is Sherlock Holmes. It is my business to know what other people do not know.”
Following Sherlock in Cambridge earlier in the year, Robert Lloyd Parry returns to Cambridge Museum of Technology with rehearsed readings of two classic Sherlock Holmes tales by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
In The Adventure of the Blue Carbuncle, Holmes and Watson skedaddle around London on the trail of a remarkable Christmas goose. In The Adventure of Charles Augustus Milverton, the great detective faces down one of his most odious foes, and risks his own freedom in the process.
The readings are held in the atmospheric surroundings of the Main Engine Room. The floors are uneven and there is no heating, so wrap up well and wear sensible shoes.
Mulled wine, mince pies, and warming drinks will be available to purchase before the performance and during the interval.
The readings are suitable for ages 11+.
