The Cambridge Museum of Technology exists to preserve Cambridge's industrial heritage and this includes industries such as the building trade. Look around our beautiful city and every door, window frame and roof has been made and fitted by skilled tradesmen. So often we remember the architects, but what about the people who translated designs on paper into reality?

We want to begin by celebrating the work of people who worked for Johnson & Bailey. J&B is close to our heart because the firm undertook restoration work on the pumping station back in the 1990s.

We would like to invite all past Johnson and Bailey employees and guests to a reunion on Sunday 16th October 2016, 3 pm-4.30 pm for tea / wine and cakes, and a good old reminisce, in the Engineers House gardens (next to the Museum of Technology) on Riverside in Cambridge.

Please RSVP if you can make it to katy.bailey@katybailey.co.uk or write beneath this post. We look forward to meeting you. Please pass on to anyone who may be interested.
