The Museum took part in a celebration of the life of Don Unwin, one of the founding members of the Museum, at the Whipple Museum of the History of Science on 30th September.
Don, who died in January, was a superb engineer who inspired generations with his knowledge and enthusiasm for designing and making everything from models of historic clocks to a scale replica of the museum’s Hathorn Davey engine which is on display in the Main Engine Room.
